Amed is such a wonderful place to discover local food, but what if, you are tired of eating rice, rice and rice? What if you want to eat gluten free in Amed?
Between your snorkelling, diving or tanning session, you must try Tropikal café! This place is suited for you!
This is the only salad bar and “real” gluten free restaurant in Amed.
There is actually one main road in Amed. Thus, it will be easy to find it. It is a little hidden, so try to not miss it. The picture bellow might help you to find it. This is an open restaurant, and there is no AC, only fan (as you can see on the picture).
The atmosphere is very peaceful; it’s full of wood decoration and plants that you will feel inside a relaxing forest for a little while. We are sure you will love the concept: it’s an open kitchen where you can see the chef cooking these beautiful meals. You can see it on the left of the picture.
First, I tried their spring roll (that i took vegan), it was so greedy and delicious that I decided to come back the day after with a friend of mine to try their salads.
This restaurant is adapted to your hunger. Indeed you can choose between the small or large size for your salad.
The two pictures you can see below are the large salads. They are perfect for a yummy lunch. There is also vegetarian and vegan option if you want a healthier lunch.
They also propose gluten free dessert, which looked wonderful.
The price is very affordable: you will pay around 3€/4$ for your large salad.
Let us know if you like this place, and send us pictures 🙂
We wish you a beautiful day in Amed.
Don’t forget, travel, eat & enjoy.
