For a change from meat or soy steaks, why not try a good gluten free chickpea steak with a little broccoli?
The recipe is super simple, and really easy to make!
For 10 steaks, you’re gonna need:
- 250g cooked broccoli
- 280g cooked and drained chickpeas
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 1 egg
- 70g rice flour
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 30g grated county
- Salt and pepper
Let’s go through the 3 steps to make a good gluten free chickpea steak:
STEP 1: Take your blender, and mix your chickpeas and broccoli.
STEP 2: Add the egg and rice flour, then blend again. Then add the shallot, garlic powder, Comté cheese and salt and pepper (to taste).
STEP 3: Then take a tablespoon, and form beautiful thick or thin patties and place them on a hot pan with a little oil. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side!
Not even 10 minutes to prepare a good gluten free steak, isn’t it so nice?
Or maybe you’re more in the mood for gluten-free falafels?
