It is located in the area of Newtown, known for its street art but also in Marickville. After spending a little while in Sydney, I was happy to be able to eat Asian food from Thailand, which was so good.
What I really enjoy about this place is that, it is an old restaurant (launched in 1996), that is well known in town for its authentic thai food, with an amazing service and Thai atmosphere.
More over, when you get to this modern restaurant (it has been renovated), there are several Thai decoration that are for sale and also a little inside shop which is so lovely ! So you can also shop while you enjoy a nice meal !
So let’s talk about what we can eat!! There are soo yummy starters with salad, coconut soup, tofu little bouché, then you can enjoy some pad Thai, chicken Cashew nuts, green, yellow, or red curry (depending on your spice addiction 😉 ), salads, seafood, but also vegetarian meals ( more than 10 on the menu) !! Once again, I d like you to remember that the waiters are very welcoming and the service is super-fast. You can go there every single day from 12 pm to 3pm and 6 pm to 10:30 pm. Thai Pothong does delivery, takeout, private dining, wheelchair access and much more. Your time to discover !
