I don’t know if you remember but I had some gluten free churros the other day in Buenos Aires and I loved them so much ! So I look for the best and easiest recipe for you to make it yourself !
I followed the recipe of @nm_meiyee and it was actually really easy to do !
Your turn to do it .
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups Gluten-free flour
- 1/4 cup cane sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 2 1/2 tbsp melted coconut oil
oil for frying - Cinnamon sugar coating
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Method:
STEP 1: Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add milk, coconut oil and mix until all ingredients are well combined.
STEP 2: In heavy pot or saucepan, heat 2 inches of oil over medium-high heat.
STEP 3: Scoop churro mixture into large piping bag, fitted with large open star tip. Carefully pipe mixture into preheated oil, into about 4 to 6-inch lengths, cut end with clean scissors.
STEP 4: Let fry until golden brown. Transfer to paper towels to dry briefly. Repeat process with remaining dough. Then transfer churros to cinnamon sugar mixture and roll to coat. Serve warm.
