Because homemade gluten free nachos are much better than the one you buy in supermarket, right?
Nachos are a Mexicano dish which can be eaten with guacamole, or cheese, for appetizer! It is very tasty, and easy to make. It is (normally) naturally gluten free, so let’s cook it together and enjoy a nice nachos time!
What you will need for 60 nachos:
- 200 g corn flour
- 35 g olive oil
- 15 cl of warm water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- sweet pepper powder
- paprika
- powdered garlic
STEP 1: In a bowl, mix the corn flour with salt and olive oil, then gradually add the warm water.
STEP 2: Knead lightly until you obtain a ball of slightly crumbly dough. Then let it rest for about 20 minutes in a bowl with a plastic film over it.
STEP 3: Preheat the oven to 200°C.
STEP 4: Spread thinly on a non-stick baking sheet (count 2 to 3 mm thick maximum).
STEP 5: Cut out the triangles with a knife or a cookie cutter. Sprinkle with sweet pepper, paprika and garlic to taste.
STEP 6: Bake for about 10 minutes and then leave to cool on the baking sheet.
STEP 7: Transfer to a salad bowl and sprinkle with spices.
You can serve it with melted cheese and guacamole, it is sooo tasty! Can’t wait to cook it again!
