In the June 2020 box, I have proposed 3 recipes to enhance your gluten free burgers. For all those who didn’t order the box, here are the recipes to make great gluten free burgers. There will be one meat-based, one vegetarian and one vegan, something to treat everyone!
- Meat based reacipe
For 4 people, in a frying pan, melt butter and brown 4 sliced figs for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove. Take a good duck breast, cut into thin slices, and brown them for a few minutes also in the same pan.
On the slices of burger bread, spread fig chutney, then put salad, duck breast and figs. For the most gourmet, add a little bit of comté cheese!
- Vegetarian recipe
Start by peeling an onion, a shallot, and 3 cloves of garlic. Peel 2 pre-cooked carrots, and 1 large pre-cooked beetroot, and cut them into small pieces. In a frying pan, brown 2 tablespoons of olive oil with onion, garlic, shallot, carrot. Deglaze with 7cl of white wine, then add 150g of pre-cooked quinoa, the beetroot, herbes de Provence, salt and pepper.
Mix well, then remove from the heat and put your preparation in a salad bowl. Add 3 eggs, 20 g of rice flour, and tomato sauce. Tie everything together well, then make 4 or 6 steaks with your hands. Leave to rest for 1 hour in the fridge. Then cook your steaks on a hot pan for 7 to 8 minutes on each side.
Then peel a red onion, wash salad, cut tomatoes and 2 avocados. On your burger buns, spread tomato sauce, put a steak, tomato, onion, avocado, salad and enjoy!
- Vegan recipe
Cook 100 g of lentils with 2 stalks of celery in water. Then cook 50g of quinoa. When the lentils are cooked, remove the celery.
Mix the lentils, 1 clove of garlic, 1 onion, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, and parsley. When everything is well blended, transfer to a salad bowl. Add the quinoa, 1 tbsp of tomato paste, 1 tbsp. of sesame seeds, and mix. Add 1 tbsp. corn flour, and mix. You should have a perfect stuffing. If not, add a little bit of flour.
Make 4 or 6 steaks with your hands, and let rest in a cool place for 1 hour. Cook each side of the steak for 3/4 minutes in a hot frying pan.
On your burger, add 1 tbsp of tomato paste, a lettuce leaf, cooked onions, a slice of tomato, and your steak. All that’s left to eat.
