I went to California this winter and I would like to introduce you to THE gluten free granola recipe, a must try ! My aunt, French, has been living in the US for years and has mixed American and French (more refined) cuisine to create this gluten free granola recipe (really too good!)
For this recipe, you will need a tool that Americans use a lot and that is SUPER practical: they call it “cups”. You can find them everywhere in France. If you need to contact me on Instagram, I will answer you quickly.
I’ll put the approximate grams next to it though 🙂
To make this gluten free granola, you’ll need the following ingredients (it may sound scary but it’s worth it!).
- 4 cups of gluten free oats (90g)
- 1 cup of chopped almonds (90g) (you can chop them yourself)
- 1 cup of chopped hazelnuts (90g) (you can have only almonds or only hazelnuts)
- 1 cup of puffed rice (90g)
- 2 and a half tablespoons of flax seeds (optional)
- 2 and a half tablespoons of chia seeds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds (30g)
- 1/4 cup coconut flour or any gluten free flour (30g)
- 2 teaspoons of cannel
- 1/4 cup honey (75g)
- 1/4 maple syrup or cane sugar (75g)
- 1/4 cup coconut oil and avocado oil (200g each)
- 1/4 cup of coconut pieces (30g) (optional)
So, nothing complicated at all: you just have to mix all the dry ingredients together.
Then microwave the sugars and oils for 30sc and add this liquid to your dry ingredients. Mix well so that the sweetener adheres to the whole gluten-free granola.
To bake:
Heat your oven to 180°.
Spread the entire granola on a baking sheet and baking paper.
Bake for 10 min then mix, bake for 10 min, mix and bake again for 10 min.
Tadaaa … That’s it! It’s a delight, you’ll love this gluten-free granola recipe. To see me make this recipe, go to Instagram .
Little tasting tip: eat your granola with a yogurt (with or without lactose), and some bananas… um just thinking about it I dream about it!
Good tasting to all
