The perfect cake for your children and super fun to make as a family on a Sunday afternoon. The gluten free chocolate roll is a great treat if you don’t have a lot of time to bake and want something good without getting too exhausted!
For this gluten free chocolat roll you are going to need:
- 100g potato starch
- 30 g butter
- 4 eggs
- 100g of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon gluten-free baking yeast
STEP 1: Preheat your oven to 220°. Take a bowl, and mix the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture whitens. Then add the melted butter
STEP 2: In another bowl, whisk your egg whites.
STEP 3: Finally in a third bowl, mix the starch and yeast.
STEP 4: Gradually add the starch/yeast and egg whites to the yellow/sugar/butter bowl.
STEP 5: Put baking paper on a baking sheet from the oven. Then spread the dough on it. Put it in the oven for 10 minutes and then take it out of the oven. Immediately brush your dough with your favorite spread, or a good homemade jam! Then, with the help of a knife, roll your dough into a beautiful gluten free roll!
