Only a few days left before Candlemas… who says Candlemas says french pancakes, and who says french pancakes says ? Homemade and gluten-free spread ! I share with you my recipe for homemade chocolate hazelnut spread… You’ll see, it’s a massacre!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 300g of roasted hazelnuts
  • 100g blond sugar
  • 150g of milk chocolate
  • 10g cocoa powder
  • 10ml grape seed or sunflower oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of fleur de sel
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid vanilla or 1 sachet of vanilla sugar if you don’t have liquid vanilla

STEP 1: Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie over low heat, stir so that it does not harden.
STEP 2: In a blender, mix your roasted hazelnuts until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
STEP 3: Add in your blender, blond sugar, cocoa powder, fleur de sel and oil, continue blending.
STEP 4: Finally, add the vanilla and the melted milk chocolate, mix well until a homogeneous paste is obtained.

It’s that simple! All that’s left to do is to take out your old jam jars and keep it in the fridge or at room temperature as you prefer!
