Gluten free afternoon tea In London? We found the royal place for you! Head down to Fortnums and you will have such a unique experience.

I didn’t know this tradition before coming to London but now this is another opportunity for me to feast while spending time with my friends.

This isn’t just gluten free afternoon tea in London, but an experience.

Afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason takes place in the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon which was opened by The Queen, that’ll impress your mum! It is an iconic store in London since 1707 and visited from all around the world.

This store has a long and storied relationship with the British royal family. Their food have been recognized and known from many and will stay in mind for most of them.

With gluten free meals, you will fall in love with this place.

There, all sandwiches are made on gluten free bread, fillings include rare roast beef with Café de Paris butter and Fortnum’s smoked salmon and horseradish cream.

To finish the collection, there are gluten free fruit scones with clotted cream and a range of jams such as lemon curd, raspberry and wild blueberry.

Make sure you indulge in their rich chocolate cupcake and berry loaf, they’re both damn good.

It is open:

  • Monday to Thursday from 11:30 to 7 pm
  • Friday to Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm
  • Sunday from 11:30 am to 7 pm

For an entire sample menu, it will cost you around 60£ per person, a good idea for a birthday present don’t you think? If you are alone, look at the menu right here, and pay around 35£ to enjoy a nice and royal experience by your own.
